Overview
On an account's Contacts tab, Matrix shows a colored icon next to each person. It ranks how strong your relationship is with that contact compared to your other contacts, so you can see at a glance who you are genuinely engaged with and who has gone quiet.
What the colors mean
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Top 15% relationship strength |
| Yellow | Top 50% relationship strength |
| Gray | Bottom 50% relationship strength |
⚠️ This is a relative ranking, not a fixed score. Each contact is graded against your other contacts. A contact can move between colors as your activity across the whole contact base changes, even if nothing about that particular relationship changed.
Where to find it
Open Accounts, click an account to open its panel, then choose the Contacts tab. Every contact attached to that account is listed with its color icon.
How to keep it meaningful
The ranking is only as good as what your team logs. Record calls, emails, and meetings against the right contact so the strength reflects reality. See Adding and Completing Activities and Why Don't My Contacts Appear.
