Matrix runs an MCP server, so the same tools Neo uses inside the app can be called from the assistant window you already have open. The answers come from your Matrix data, not from a general model guessing at it.

Click the sparkle at the top right of Matrix, beside the notifications bell. Ask. Follow up in the same thread. When a question could be about any of several properties, the picker drops into the conversation and you choose from a list, rather than retyping the property name.

Add Matrix as a custom connector, authorize it once, and ask about your pipeline without switching windows. Where Neo would draw the property picker inside Matrix, the connector hands your assistant the same choices as a list to put to you in its own words.

Matrix is not yet listed in either connector directory, so this goes through the custom connector path in both.
A token on every request
The connector authenticates as itself over OAuth. Matrix verifies the token before it does anything.
Your permissions, not more
Your user, subscription and property permissions apply exactly as they do in the app. A connected assistant sees what you would see.

Neo's tools are the questions a sales office asks. It runs at global scope across your whole portfolio, and it knows the difference between a rooms-blocked number and a pickup number.

Pace for the property you pick, broken out by stage and by month: this year against same time last year, with the variance. It names the gap accounts too, the ones that had room nights last year and nothing on the books this year.

“Which of my accounts haven't I touched in 30 days?”
The accounts you own with no logged activity, and how long it has been, so the follow-up list writes itself.
The recap
“What happened yesterday?”
Groups in house, arriving and departing, plus the properties with nothing logged at all. The thing a DOS checks before leaving and a GM checks before the morning meeting.

Answers are shaped by the position on your user record. A director of sales gets the pipeline view, a general manager gets the property view, from the same question.

Deactivating a property now removes it everywhere.
July closed that across the app: lists, boards, pickers, the dashboard calendar, activity streams and exports, account and contact totals, stat boxes, bulk BEO and group resume jobs, and Agent Neo all stop at active properties.

What is Agent Neo?
Agent Neo is the AI assistant built into Matrix. Ask it a question in plain English and it answers using your live Matrix data: leads, accounts, opportunities, contacts and activities. It works across your whole scope, not one property at a time, so it can answer questions that span a portfolio.
Does Neo change my data?
No. Today Neo answers questions and finds records. It does not create or edit anything. Editing is on the roadmap.
What can Neo see?
Only what you can. Neo answers from the Matrix data you already have access to, across your scope, and it does not surface records outside your permissions. Deactivated properties are excluded.
Can I use Neo outside Matrix?

How do I open it?
Click the sparkle icon at the top right of Matrix, beside the notifications bell. Type a question and press Enter, or click one of the starter chips. You can attach or paste a file when you want Neo to look at something specific.
