What Is Agent Neo?
Agent Neo is Matrix's built-in AI assistant. Ask it a question in plain English and it answers using your live Matrix data: your leads, accounts, opportunities, contacts, and activities. Think of it as a teammate who has already read your entire pipeline.
Agent Neo works across your whole scope, not just one property, so it can answer questions that span your portfolio.
Availability: Agent Neo is in beta and currently available to every Matrix user. We are rolling it out to everyone so you can try it. Access may change as the beta evolves, so email support@m1intel.com with any questions.
How to Open Agent Neo
Click the sparkle icon in the Matrix top navigation bar, beside the notifications bell. The bell itself sits to the left of your profile photo. The Agent Neo chat opens. Type your question and press Enter. Agent Neo shows a thinking indicator while it works, then replies. You can attach a file when you need Agent Neo to look at something specific. For example, upload or paste in a competitive-set report and ask Agent Neo to summarize it against your own data.
What You Can Ask
Agent Neo knows who you are, what is assigned to you, and the difference between open and closed work. Examples:
- "How is my group pace for next month?"
- "Which of my accounts haven't I touched in 30 days?"
- "How many open opportunities do I have?"
- "Find the main contact at [company]."
- "What activities do I have due this week?"
- "What is my game plan for today?"
- "Give me a recap of what happened yesterday."
Ask naturally. Agent Neo keeps the thread, so you can refine with follow-up questions.
When you open a fresh chat, Agent Neo also offers a few one-click starters, such as Yesterday's Recap, Today's Game Plan, and Group Pace Analysis (Next 3 Months). They are a quick way to see the kind of thing it can answer.
The starters shift later in the day. From 4:00 PM in the property's time zone onward, a single Today's Recap starter takes the place of both game plan starters, so you get a look back at the day instead of a plan for it.
When Agent Neo Asks You to Pick
Some questions cannot be answered until Agent Neo knows which record you mean. The most common case is asking about group pace while your scope covers more than one property: it cannot guess which hotel you want.
When that happens, Agent Neo asks the question and gives you the choices directly in the chat. For a property, you get a searchable list of the properties in your scope, each shown by code and name. Click the one you want, or type to filter first if the list is long. You do not have to retype the property name.
Agent Neo then continues with your original question against the property you picked.
Setting your scope to a single property before you ask avoids the question entirely.
Best Practices
Be specific. "Show my open opportunities closing this month" beats "show opportunities."
Use it before reviews. Pull your numbers for a 1:1 or pipeline meeting in seconds instead of building a report.
Follow up in the same chat. Agent Neo remembers the conversation, so you can narrow results step by step.
Tell us when an answer looks off. Agent Neo is in beta and improving, and your feedback sharpens it for everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Agent Neo change my data? No. Today Agent Neo answers questions and finds records for you. It does not create or edit records. Editing is on the roadmap.
Why don't I see Agent Neo? Agent Neo is in beta for all users right now, so it should be available in your account. If it is not showing up, email support@m1intel.com.
What can Agent Neo see? Agent Neo answers from the Matrix data you already have access to, across your scope. It does not surface records outside your permissions.
