Overview
Two views give you the group picture for a property: Group Rooms Pace and Group Rooms & Events Control. Both are tabs on the Group Board, and both are also linked from the Reports page (where the second one is listed as "Group Rooms And Events Report").
⚠️ Both are property-level views. On the Global view, Pace tells you "Please select a property first". Choose a single property before opening either one.
Group Rooms Pace
Pace answers "are we ahead of where we were last year?" It compares what is on the books now against the same time last year (STLY).
The table shows ROOMS, ADR, and REVENUE. Each of those gives you the current period, the same period last year, and the Var to STLY difference. Rooms and Revenue also show LY Actuals. Rows are broken out by month and split into Definite and Tentative.
Above the table, a chart plots revenue as bars and room nights as lines, with separate series for Definite, Definite (STLY), Tentative, and Tentative (STLY).
By default it covers the next 12 months, stages Definite and Tentative, and all group types. You can change that in Filters, and download the view as SVG, PNG, or CSV.
Group Rooms & Events Control
This is our version of the traditional GRC. It rolls your groups up across a date window so you can see what is committed at the property.
It casts a wider net than Pace: by default it includes Prospect, Tentative, Definite, and Closed, and it adds filters for assignee, booked dates, and event dates.
Key takeaway
Use Pace to answer "are we ahead of last year", and Group Rooms & Events Control to answer "what do we actually have on the books". Set your scope to a single property first or neither will load.
